If you've ever played the games (or seen the film) then you'll understand perfectly. If not, it doesn't matter, it's still creepy!
Taken in the wee hours on Saturday morning. The stillness was deafening.
Absolutely beautiful. I don't know the games but honestly, I don't even care because these photos are just so beautiful. The lighting and composition is lovely, I really like the sort of entering a tunnel feel that you get from the trees lining the road.
It's great that you've made what could be very ordinary into something very very beautiful. And nightshots are really hard so all credit to you.
This one I like a lot more - the greater depth of field and crispness (tripod for this one) make it look far more pleasing. And the creepy effect comes through better here, too!

Wow, thank you very much for your kind and thoughtful comment, I truly appreciate it, I cannot even begin to express! There is nothing more rewarding than successful experimentation, I believe.
This street was just perfect, it practically composed itself! I'm fortunate that my partner lives on it. I've always wanted to photograph his street, I've just needed the right time to do so.
Again, thank you so, so much for commenting and ing this piece, it is such an honor.

It was very creepy, all around me, the leaves were dripping dew drops, so all I could hear was "tick, tick..." and I could barely see a thing! It was a lot of fun, though.

Are you sure I used a tripod? How do you know I don't have a very still hand? Eh?
Thank you so much, Jules! This is my favourite of the lot, too - we're like twins.
